Video telematics and DRIVER MONITORING DEVICE FOR FLEETS

Cipia-FS10 is Cipia’s video telematics and driver monitoring device for fleets.

Cipia-FS10 offers an advanced in-cabin driver monitoring system designed to answer telematics system provider’s (TSPs) and the Fleet industry’s needs.

Using computer vision and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and with the help of an IR sensor, Cipia-FS10 tracks the driver’s head pose, eyelids and direction of gaze to provide real-time assessment of the driver’s state (attentive, distracted, drowsy), actions (smoking, wearing a face mask, a seatbelt, and holding a phone), and identity (recognition of enrolled drivers).

DMS designed for fleets

The detection of driver state, actions, driver ID and camera status enable life-saving and cost-saving features for telematics system providers (TSP), Fleets and drivers.

The driver receives real-time alerts when drowsiness, distraction or dangerous actions are detected, while the Fleet Management System (FMS) receives tailored real-time alerts according to their needs enabling optimization and increasing efficacy of fleet manager / dispatcher.

We understand that TSPs’ and fleets’ require macro level snapshots and long term behavior analysis as opposed to the in-cabin real-time alerts that assist drivers in accident prevention.

We designed Cipia-FS10 to support fleet’s unique requirements.

The device detects in real-time camera tampering and loss of calibration to notify the FMS and allow quick response to the situation. The data gathered enables high-level FMS driver ID,

workforce management enhancement and information which enable advanced driver scoring and training.

The Device

Highlights

Robustness

The underlying technology is designed to meet the safety standards and regulations automotive OEMs are facing, including Euro NCAP and the European General Safety Regulations.

Privacy

All video processing is done locally on the device. The end customer may choose whether to receive text based alerts only or include video snippets before and after an event. Under both cases, Cipia Technologies does not receive any video data of any kind.

Easy integration

An IOS / Android Installer app is used for quick installation and calibration.

Flexible connectivity options to the in-vehicle telematics box using RS232, Bluetooth
or Wifi, enable real-time data flow from the FS-10 devices to the existing FMS.

Tailored for fleet operations

FS-10’s cloud middleware simplifies and shortens integration time for direct communication with your FMS cloud. In addition, Cipia-FS10 offers an important distinction between driver alerts and fleet manager alerts, which are filtered to prevent overload.
